Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (March 28 1986). Pop singer. Lady Gaga is known worldwide. Born in Manhattan, New York. Her mother is Cynthia Louise Bissett vice president of mobile provider Verizon. Joseph Anthony Germanotta Jr. is her father, an internet company director and businessman. She was raised in an luxurious Upper East Side neighborhood of Manhattan by an elitist Catholic family. Due to this her parents were enrolled in at the Convent of the Sacred Heart an eminent religious school. The passion for music started when she was a young toddler. She learned how to play a keyboard, and, at age 13, wrote her very first song. She performed at open mic nights. Her top artists of choice included David Bowie, Madonna and Michael Jackson. A graduate of New York University, Tisch School of Art she started taking music classes after her high school graduation. Although she was not able to finish her studies she abandoned the school to begin her music career.
